Living in the Now Through Calligraphy with Jim Fives

Saginaw artist Jim Fives presented “Living in the Now Through Calligraphy” at Dawn of a New Day Coffeehouse in Downtown Saginaw. After a brief talk about some of the orgins of writting, participants tried their hands at writing calligraphy themselves. You may never have seen Fives in person, but you likely have seen his work around Saginaw including at Spatz Bakery, Major Chords for Minor’s sign, or perhaps Oppermann’s Cork ‘N’ Ale.
