SVSU University Art Gallery
Nestled into the Arbury Fine Arts Center, the SVSU University Art Gallery is open and free to the public. The Gallery hosts 10-12Â exhibits yearly including student exhibits. For the month of October, the gallery hosted the works of Connecticut based artist Cara DeAngelis in a show titled “Still Life: Roadkill in the Domestic Space” Beginning November 10, the gallery will feature works by Erin Hoffman in a show titled “Power and Consequences”
Founded more than 40 years ago by Barron Hirsch (pictured below) the gallery serves as a cultural resource for students, as well as the surrounding local and regional community.
