Celebration Square Spring Into Service Day Event 2013
The Saginaw Community Foundation partnered with local organizations, schools, and business to help organize the Spring into Service Day Event. More than 250 high school students volunteered to help paint plant rake clean and assist with minor repairs around the Celebration Square area including Crayola Park, Ojibway Island, Andersen Enrichment Center, and the Japanese Cultural Center.
List of partner schools and other organizations who made Spring Into Sercvice Day 2013 a success: Arthur Hill, Birch Run, Carrollton, Chesaning, Freeland, Hemlock, Heritage, Nouvel Catholic Central, Saginaw High, SASA, St. Charles, Swan Valley, Valley Lutheran and the SISD Transitions Center.
